In India, it is celebrated on September 5th, marking the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, an eminent scholar, philosopher, and the second President of India.

SAL Institute of Pharmacy had organized an orientation program for B. Pharm students , includes an introduction to the institution's vision, faculty, and facilities, as well as an overview of the pharmacy profession, curriculum, and policies like those from the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).

World Pharmacist Day is observed annually on 25th September, as designated by the International Pharmaceutical Federation (FIP), to highlight the vital role of pharmacists in healthcare systems around the globe.
