My time at SAL Institute of Pharmacy and SAL Hospital laid a foundation in clinical practice and patient care. Both the institute and the hospital support proactive student initiatives in Academics, Case discussions, hands on lab training and real world hospital exposure. I appreciate the leadership roles, internship and clerkship opportunities for students. The faculties and the entire healthcare team of the hospital encourage a take-charge attitude which helped shape me into a well-rounded healthcare professional. Personally, these experiences have trained me to build my communication skills, be innovative and enhance my time management ability, skills that are as crucial as theoretical knowledge. I look forward to leveraging these valuable experiences from the Pharm.D program to optimize patient outcomes.

My experience at SAL Institute of Pharmacy has been truly enriching and memorable. The college offers a well-structured curriculum supported by knowledgeable and approachable faculty members who are always ready to guide students. The campus is equipped with modern laboratories, a good library, and excellent infrastructure that enhance the learning environment. Apart from academics, the institute also encourages participation in various co-curricular and extracurricular activities, helping students develop both personally and professionally. As a Pharm.D alumnus of SAL College and Hospital, I am proud to reflect on my journey at an institution known for its strong academic foundation and practical exposure. The Doctor of Pharmacy program at SAL is a rigorous six-year course, blending classroom learning with hands-on training in SAL Hospital, which is one of Ahmedabad’s oldest hospitals. This was an invaluable clinical experience. The faculty is supportive and knowledgeable, ensuring students are industry-ready. The campus provides good infrastructure, extracurricular activities, and opportunities for internships in reputed hospitals. SAL’s focus on holistic development and real-world skills has shaped my professional confidence and competence as a healthcare provider.
